Job summary

Suddath is hiring for a warehouse associate to support receiving, storing, shipping, and palletizing product on-site. You will help ensure sanitation, safety, and productivity standards are met in a climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities include picking/packing, light assembly, inventory counts, and coordinating with shipping. A high school diploma or GED and basic experience are required; training on safety policies is provided.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform essential duties with safety awareness.
• Willingness to operate logistics equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders; assemble products for shipping.
• Repair and recoup damaged goods as required.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm

MAJOR GOAL:

This position is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, shipping, repackaging, and palletizing of product to meet company standards of sanitation, safety, security and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack (order picking and/or assembly of products in less than full case lots), light assembly (assembly of light mechanical or electrical component parts or sub-assemblies that may require the use of hand tools) and record storage.


• Repair and recoup damaged goods as required.


• Count all product, compare to manifest and check all shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates.


• Report shortages, damages and miss-shipments on appropriate forms.


• Perform unload/load activities for shipments as necessary.


• Efficiently relocate, stack and store merchandise.


• Ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked.


• Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.


• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.


• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts.


• Ensure proper stock rotation.

QUALIFICATONS:

Education & Experience:

High school or G.E.D. degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions:
