GXO is seeking a Material Handler for the Day Shift (Full-Time) located in our facility. The role involves moving material and inventory, using hand trucks and scanners, and ensuring accurate packing and labeling of products. You’ll follow the 7S program and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, has basic math skills, can read safety documents, and can work a flexible schedule with potential overtime. Warehouse experience and handheld scanner use are a plus.

Material Handler - Day Shift (Full-Time) - Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm; off days Sat, Sun, Mon

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Maintain a clean environment at all times
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents

It'd be great if you also have:

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
