Job summary

Employment Solutions of New York, Inc. is hiring for a contract material handler in Danbury, CT. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM on a 3-month assignment, with a pay rate of $20+ per hour.

You will maintain inventory, deliver materials to production areas, support receiving/shipping, and operate material handling equipment while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills; ERP experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable operating material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and ERP updates.
• Deliver raw materials and components to production areas in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper material levels at workstations to prevent production delays.
• Assist with receiving and shipping activities.
• Operate material handling equipment safely.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
