Job summary

Staffmark Group in Carlisle, PA is hiring Material Handlers to keep products moving on the D Shift (Fri/Sat/Sun, 5pm–5:30am). The role covers loading/unloading, inventory control, packing and shipping preparation, and maintaining an organized warehouse.

You’ll work with basic computer systems, follow safety procedures, and contribute to on-time delivery. Starting pay is $18.25 per hour with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training beneficial.
• Minimum 1–3 months of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work with basic math and follow simple instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage locations.
• Review schedules and orders to determine materials to move or distribute.
• Transport materials to storage locations or other departments.
• Sort and organize inventory by size, type, or code.
• Pull and distribute materials to production lines and employees.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare for packing and shipping.
• Label materials and inspect incoming shipments.
• Record quantities and maintain inventory in the system.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
