Job summary

Pete & Gerry’s is seeking a Material Handler to move, store, and stage products between the warehouse and processing floor with safety and efficiency. You will support production while upholding animal welfare and food safety commitments.

You'll operate pallet jacks and forklifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with teams to ensure a smooth materials flow. This role requires physical stamina and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a processing environment preferred.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Frequent lifting up to 35-50 pounds.
• Extended periods of standing and walking.
• Frequent reaching and grasping with hands.
• 2 years material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment including manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts.
• Moves product and materials between the warehouse and processing floor.
• Ensures departments have what they need when they need it.
• Maintains accurate counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Scans items and adjusts counts in the inventory tracking system.
• Notifies management of any potential issues.
