Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Material Handler for a local Kodak, TN manufacturing facility. This full-time role supports production by moving and staging materials, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality.

You will measure parts with tape measures and apply masking materials during finishing, contributing to efficient workflows and adherence to specifications. Shift follows a 4-day workweek, with Friday mornings off and salary listed as $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately (fractions and measurements).
• Experience with masking techniques for paint or finishing processes preferred.
• Experience with sandblasting or similar surface preparation processes preferred.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Move, organize, and stage raw materials and finished parts within the facility to support production flow.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to identify part requirements and specifications.
• Accurately measure parts using tape measures and other basic measuring tools.
• Apply masking materials (tape, plugs, or coverings) to parts before finishing processes.
