Johnson Controls Navy Systems in York, PA is seeking a Blast Technician / Material Handler for the 2nd shift to support its federal systems work. The role focuses on maintaining a clean 6S environment, following complex drawings, preparing parts from prints and routers, and ensuring high-quality documentation.
Responsibilities include operating powered equipment, maintaining forklift certification, and strict adherence to PPE protocols to ensure a safe, compliant production area.
Blast Technician / Material Handler (Manufacturing) - 2nd Shift to join our federal team at our York, PA (Grantly Plant) location. Responsible for maintaining a safe clean, and organized 6S environment. Understanding the criticality of proper quality-controlled documentation. Responsible for operating various powered equipment. Responsible for maintaining forklift certification. Accountable for adhering to and promoting compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
