Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Material Handler to move materials to production and support the supply chain on-site. You will join a highly engaged team and help streamline material flow within the manufacturing facility.

Learn and apply the Danaher Business System daily, while maintaining clear communication and organization to ensure timely material availability for production lines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior manufacturing or distribution of materials experience.

The Material Handler is responsible for facilitating the movement of material to the production teams. This position reports to the Materials Logistics Supervisor and is part of the Supply Chain Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be a part of a highly engaged material handling team
• Facilitate moving materials throughout the manufacturing facility
• Learn the Danaher Business System and how to incorporate it in daily operations

Essential Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of prior manufacturing or distribution of materials experience
• Organizationally structured and able to effectively communicate

Preferred Experience

• Use of Kanban for replenishing materials
• Use of Oracle/ERP to execute timely and accurate material transactions
