Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply is seeking a warehouse associate to move materials from receiving to shipping, sort items on racks by size or product code, restock bins, and fulfill requisitions for materials while distributing items to trucks. The role includes stacking materials into bundles, packaging orders, measuring and packing, and completing movement paperwork to keep inventory accurate.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code.
• Restock material in assigned bin location; or fill requisitions for materials and distribute items to designated delivery trucks.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together; package orders for shipping, pick up or truck delivery.
• Measure, cut and package material.
• Complete Material Movement paperwork.
