Qualified candidates have 2+ years of forklift experience, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on continuous improvement and efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of sit-down forklift experience.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move product via manual pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Accurate scanning of material and component transactions for press startup, replenishment, and turnovers.
• Follow work instructions and quality control documentation.
• Clear production line of inventory no longer in use (Line Clearance).
• Complete End-of-Shift (EOS) Status form.
• Move and accurately scan product to storage locations.
• Perform daily forklift inspections.
• Set up and use auxiliary material handling equipment (dryers, dispensing hoppers, etc.).
• Ensure proper material transfer/changeover and clean out of material dryers, loader/mixer hoppers.
• Enter data in the computer and print labels.
• Verify all labels match work order information.

The Material Handler is responsible for the preparation and delivery of raw materials for production and maintains material corridors/staging areas. While performing the duties of the position, Material Handlers are responsible for maintaining a high degree of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a skilled position. Only applicants with 2 or more years of forklift experience will be considered for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the housekeeping of the injection molding machine area and surrounding areas.
• Actively participates in Continuous Improvement teams and activities & housekeeping.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
