Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to physically process finished goods, returns and inventory variances for surgical packs. The role involves repacking and salvaging finished goods, researching variances, and putting away materials while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to read/write in English, perform basic math, stand up for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and be flexible for overtime 2–3

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Physical processing of cancelled jobs, production returns and scale downs.
• Repack and salvage finished goods.
• Research inventory variances.
• Material put away.
• Maintain clean/safe work area.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic math (addition and subtraction) required.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
• Ability to be certified on wave and order picker.
• Work is to be done standing up.
• Ability to work well with others in order to accomplish team objectives.
• Must have high sense of urgency.
• Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on regular basis up to 6 days a week.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience:

• Previous manufacturing experience a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$18.75 - $27.25 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
