Job summary

Dexcom is seeking an Intermediate warehousing professional to join the team in Mesa, AZ. The Material Handler 3 will perform receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control under general supervision, ensuring timely material movement per safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating a range of material handling equipment, transactions in ERP/WMS, and supporting continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in related material handling role.
• 1 year Oracle/WMS or 2 years other ERP/WMS transactions.
• 1+ year operating electric material handling equipment.
• Basic data entry and Microsoft Office skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities.

• Operate material handling equipment and transport material between areas.

Material Handler 3 performs a variety of warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. Position in responsible for completing the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures. Position is expected to transact all material timely and compile and maintain all required documents for material movement as per quality procedures. This position may work with raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials, finished goods, returned goods, R&D materials, etc.Work Schedule: Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime, Hours and shifts are subject to change.Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM - 3:30PMLocation: (RDC) 8046 E Ray Rd Mesa, AZWhere you come in:Completes all warehousing activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.Able to perform all activities of a Material Handler 2. Utilizes pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, sit-down reach trucks, turret trucks, electric rider jacks, box trucks to unload/load material and transport it between areas.Able to obtain and/or has been certified on multiple types of material handling equipment.Performs transactions in ERP/WMS system including but not limited to shipping, entering cycle counts and material receipts, shipments, etc.Able to investigate and resolve shipping or receiving issues utilizing ERP/WMS system.Broad knowledge of Oracle ERP/High Jump WMS system.Able to perform intermediate functions in Excel including such as creating tables, sorting/filtering data, etc.Able to coordinates inbound and outbound freight.Able to support international shipping activity.Cross-trained in multiple functions in the warehouse(s) such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control.In collaboration with his supervisors, assists in implementing process improvement ideas.Assists in leading daily team meetings to review team performance and daily workload.Provides hands on training to new employees/temporary employees on warehouse functions.Helps assign activities to team based on priorities set by leadership.Creates and/runs basic reports around performance metrics.Investigates a resolves basic customer requests from internal partners.What makes you successful:4+ years of experience in material handling role.1 year utilizing Oracle/WMS or 2 years of experience completing transactions in other ERP/WMS system1+ year experience operating electric powered material handling equipmentBasic computer data entry skillsBasic understanding of Microsoft OfficeAbility to obtain a forklift certificationStrong written and verbal English communication skillsStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsWhat you’ll get:A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
