Job summary

O’Neal Steel in Waterloo, IA is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to move and manage materials using forklifts and cranes, read tape measures, and ensure accurate outputs for internal and external customers.

You'll work 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. The role includes eligibility for benefits such as health, vision and dental insurance, weekly pay, and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 2nd Shift (2:00PM-10:00PM) Monday - Friday.
• Provide high quality work to internal and external customers.
• Operate material handling equipment as listed.
• Read a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a (2nd Shift) Material Handler at our Waterloo, IA facility.

What you will be doing:

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Use a variety of hand tools including, but not limited to, grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.

Must be able to work 2nd Shift (2:00PM-10:00PM) Monday - Friday. Overtime will be required as needed.

Upon offer of employment, candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
