Job summary

BEL USA LLC in Miami, FL is seeking a Material Handler to operate warehouse equipment and ensure timely delivery of products. The role involves pulling stock, staging for production, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory tags.

You will support the Production Department, keep the work area clean, follow safety procedures, and participate in cycle counts and data entry for transfers and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Pull stock per printed work orders and stage for production.
• Prepare stock for shipments of non-imprint orders.
• Change inventory tags and keep them up-to-date.
• Maintain a constant workflow for Production Department.
• Ensure work area is clean and uncluttered.
• Load/unload materials to/from trucks and pallets.
• Perform cycle counting and report inventory discrepancies.
• Read Sales/Work orders to determine items to pick and move.
• Enter transfers and scrap replacements in the computer system.
• Punctual attendance and teamwork to support operations.

Job description

Must be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. In addition, the Material Handler must operate warehouse equipment to ensure the products are being delivered in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed).

• Pull stock in accordance with printed work orders and stage for production.
• Prepare stock for shipments of non-imprint orders.
• Change inventory tags and keep up-to-date.
• Maintain a constant work flow for the Production Department.
• Make sure that work area is maintained clean and clutter free.
• Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment.
• Pulls product according to printed sample orders.
• Put stock away in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Packages samples and materials for shipping to customers, trade shows, etc.
• Responsible for inventory counts of samples in stock and requisitioning replacements from Production Planning.
• Properly labels samples with designated hangtag label for proper identification of sample.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
• Loads and unloads materials to and from trucks, pallets, racks and vehicles.
• Performs cycle counting. Identifies and reports inventory record errors.
• Reads Sales/Work orders, etc to determine items to be picked and moved to appropriate production areas.
• Enters Sales/Work orders, transfers, and scrap replacement transactions in the computer system.
• Reliable, regular attendance is essential.
• Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work.
• Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
  

Internal Application Eligibility Requirements

• Employees must be in their current position for at least six (6) months before being eligible to apply to an open position.
