Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler at our Flowery Branch, GA site. You will move, stock, and route materials to production lines, using SAP and Kanban processes, while ensuring accurate inventories and safe operation of equipment.

Onsite role with regular overtime may apply. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience; leadership exposure is a plus. Proficiency in Word/Excel and reliable teamwork are expected.

This position reports to:
Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Flowery Branch, GA

Your role and responsibilities:

• Move, deliver, and stock materials/components to support production lines using SAP and Kanban processes.
• Pull, stack, store, and organize products and materials in designated storage and point-of-use locations.
• Operate material handling equipment while following safety procedures for traffic, loading, battery charging, and truck maintenance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and transport materials, supplies, and scrap according to documentation and work instructions.

Qualifications for the role:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 Year of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred with the ability to set high performance standards for self and others.
• Adaptability and organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change, with a willingness to cross-train and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Technical and operational proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization. Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
