Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Material Handler on 2nd Shift at our Farmington Hills, Michigan facility. You will move, store, inspect, and issue materials to support production flow, using forklifts and warehouse systems like JDE, RFS, and RF technology.

Responsibilities include processing shipments, loading orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and safe handling of materials. This full-time, on-site role offers $19-$21/hour plus a $1/hour shift premium for 2nd shift.

Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Material Handler - 1st Shift at our Farmington Hills, Michigan facility. In this role, you will support shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and production flow by moving, storing, inspecting, issuing, and tracking materials throughout the plant. You will use forklifts and warehouse systems, including JDE, RFS, and RF technology, to keep materials moving safely and accurately.

  • Location: Farmington Hills, MI

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

  • Pay: $19-$21/hour (depending on skills and experience)

  • Other Compensation:$1/hour shift premium for 2nd Shift

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

  • Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.

What You'll Do as a Material Handler
  • Process shipments and accurately load orders to help meet production schedules.

  • Receive, inspect, store, issue, schedule, move, weigh, stock, and pack materials and products while supporting appropriate inventory levels.

  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, and other warehouse equipment to move materials throughout the facility.

  • Load and unload trucks while supporting the safe handling and transportation of materials and products.

  • Use JDE, RFS, and RF technology to accurately track inventory movement and support efficient shipping processes.

  • Deliver raw materials to work centers promptly to support production and minimize downtime.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and reconciliations so stock levels align with production needs.

  • Confirm materials are correctly labeled and packaged and inspect them for damage to support quality standards.
