Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, conveying and shipping activities in our Shipping/Plant facility. You will load/unload semi-trucks, move rolls and finished goods, and assist with staging for production to maintain smooth workflow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift certification, 1–3 years in a warehouse, basic math and computer skills, and familiarity with inventory systems. Mandarin speakers are a plus in a diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Move raw materials, components, and finished goods within the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers safely.
  • Stage materials for production lines to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Maintain clean, organized storage areas.
  • Accurately track material movements using inventory systems or logs.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and assist in resolution.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. Job Responsibilities
Material Handling
  • Move raw materials, components, and finished goods to designated areas within the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers efficiently and safely.
  • Stage materials for production lines to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
  • Accurately track material movements using inventory systems or manual logs.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving issues
Forklift Handling
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety standards while operating equipment.
  • Safely stack and store materials to prevent damage or injury.
Warehouse Support
  • Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing incoming materials.
  • Prepare materials for shipping, including packaging and labeling.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams.
Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management or inventory systems is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
