Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. seeks experienced Material Handlers at our Topton, PA Distribution Center. The role involves moving materials, loading/unloading, and operating forklifts and related equipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

Starting wage is $27 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on/retention bonus. 2nd and 3rd shifts are available, with overtime and a guaranteed 40-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, walkie riders, towmotors, and stacktrucks.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the warehouse using powered equipment.
• Picks batteries to build pallets based on customer orders.
• Packages and ships product on trailers.
• Receives incoming material and logs it in the tracking system.
• Verifies incoming parts and counts and stores them correctly.
• Manifests pallets using a handheld RF scanner and locates/moves pallets.
• Performs weekly inventory of product.
