Material Handler - 1st Shift - ONeal Manufacturing Services

Position Summary

The Material Handler will assist with the preparation of the paint-line and powder coating fabricated materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Prepare, set up, and test paint spraying.
• Apply powder coating to fill surface imperfections when required.
• Mix coating materials according to specifications.
• Provide error-free work to internal and external customers.
• Work under direct supervision.
• Support safety and quality programs by following all rules and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift

1st Shift with voluntary overtime on Fridays when applicable.

• Monday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
• Tuesday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
• Wednesday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
• Thursday - 5:30AM to 4:00PM
• Friday - As Needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, sit, stand, twist, and stoop for long periods.
• Walk 2-5 miles during a shift.
• Good vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Manual dexterity for precise hand and finger movements.
• Exposure to environmental conditions including temperature changes, loud noises, vibration, and potential hazards like moving parts, electrical currents, heat, chemicals, fumes, dust, and oils.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use various hand tools.
• Dependence on instructions and established guidelines.
