O'Neal Steel (ONI Company) in Evansville, IN is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift. The role involves loading/unloading, operating forklift, overhead and stacker cranes, and yard dog equipment to move material inside the warehouse.

You will use hand tools, read tape measures, and ensure quality for internal and external customers. Standard shift is 7am–3pm, with overtime as needed. Comprehensive benefits are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to work 1st shift (7am–3pm).
• Capability to perform basic hand-tool tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, and yard dog.
• Use hand tools such as grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, and wrench.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Provide high quality work to internal and external customers.
• Commit to 1st shift hours (7am–3pm) with overtime as needed.

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a (1st Shift) Material Handler at our Evansville, IN facility.The Material Handler will load and unload material within a warehouse. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks or trains and within the storage facility. Has knowledge of commonly used practices, and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.What you will be doing:Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.Use a variety of hand tools including, but not limited to, grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.Accurately read a tape measure.Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.Must be able to work 1st Shift (7am- 3pm) Monday - Friday.
