Job summary

Debbie's Staffing seeks a 1st shift Material Handler for our client in Rural Hall, NC. Job includes assembling displays, packing and labeling boxes, and material handling with up to 50 lb lifts. Fast-paced environment and overtime may be required.

Typical hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime during weeks and on weekends. Weekday pay is $16 per hour; weekend pay is $18 per hour. Weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass all new hire screenings.
• Must be able to stand/walk 8-12 hours per day.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must speak and read English.
• Must be ok working in a non-climate-controlled building.

Responsibilities

• Labeling and supplying assemblers with products by opening hard cartons.
• Moving, stacking cases, and wrapping pallets of products.
• Using pallet jacks to move pallets and displays.
• Labeling, making cardboard displays and packing products.
• Packing socks in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross training in all departments.

JOB SUMMARY

This is a physically demanding role that involves assembling displays using hard cardboard/cartons, packing and labeling boxes, and handling materials. Once the product is packed, you will be required to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Moving, stacking cases, and wrapping pallets of products.
• Use pallet jack to move pallets and displays.
• Labeling, making cardboard displays and packing products.
