Job summary

Eaton’s CPDI OPS is hiring a Material Handler for 1st shift in Raleigh, NC. The role supports production by planning, locating, storing, and allocating materials and by performing quality checks along the way.

The position requires 6 months of material handling experience and familiarity with SAP, WMS, and Microsoft Office. The job includes forklift duties, daily inventory tasks, and potential weekend overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
• At least 6 months of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience using SAP, WMS, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, verify, store, organize, and allocate materials to support production.
• Operate and read hand-held RF units to locate and move materials.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform cycle counts; monitor stock accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks; inspect material for damage and report irregularities.
• Uphold safety and quality standards during material handling and production flow.
• Perform 5S housekeeping and forklift operation as needed; keep work area clean and organized.
• Occasionally drive a box truck for up to 2–3 hours daily.
