Job summary

BorgWarner in North Carolina is hiring for a warehouse associate responsible for unloading/loading trucks, verifying quantities, and ensuring accurate paperwork and labeling.

You will use a forklift and SAP to put away and pick parts, stage materials for production, and support inventory control while following safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift license, and at least two years in a manufacturing warehouse, with basic Windows/SAP skills and reliable attendance.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Unload/Load trucks
• Verify quantity loading/unloading is accurate.
• Ensure paperwork and labelling is correct.
• Scan parts for receipt/delivery as required.
• Stage material for put away/pickup.
• Reviews assembly build requirements.
• Picks and stages parts for delivery to the production areas in such a manner that ensures that the correct quantity of the part is delivered to the correct place.
• Delivers material from the warehouse to the production areas and vice versa.
• Provides support to the decant areas.
• Drives forklift or operates other power equipment to transport a variety of materials, parts, or products.
• Use SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locations.
• Notifies supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepancies.
• Stacks materials in designated area.
• Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Communicate and enforce safe work procedures.
• Identify and close safety issues (suggestions, inspection and investigation findings) and their corrective actions.
• Understands and adheres to current quality and control policies.
• Perform other duties as needed.
