Job summary

RRD is seeking a Material Handler in Salt Lake City for a 10-hour shift on the 2nd shift. You will load and unload materials, set up basic equipment, and monitor quality and output to meet production goals.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and effective communication in English. Overtime and a benefits package including health coverage and a 401(k) are offered.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
  • 0-1 year related experience (preferred).
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and basic equipment controls.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials into the machine.
  • Verify correct material for production and perform basic setup.
  • Adjust machine components and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Respond to indicator lights and display screens with proper actions.
  • Support safety, security policies and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist audits and provide required documentation.

Responsible for loading, unloading, and maintaining material to assigned machine units Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment (different type of equipment varying from 227, Alphaliner and Ferag) Responsible for quality, output and production goals

RESPONSIBILITIES

Load and unload materials into the machine Verify correct material for production line, perform basic machine setup (including being able to work the machine interface or machine controls), adjusting machine components, and troubleshooting as needed Respond to the indicator lights and display screens and know the actions required to mitigate the issue Support and comply with safety and security policies to promote a healthy work environment, including housekeeping standards Support and comply with internal and external audits, to include providing information, performing assigned tasks to ensure compliance, and preparing and maintaining evidence that key duties identified as internal controls have been performed. EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE
  • 0-1- year related experience (preferred).
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Ability to multi-task Ability to assess obstacles and make minor non-mechanical adjustments to ensure safety and maintenance procedures are followed
  • Ability and knowledge to operate a pallet jack
  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language(Preferred)

2nd Shift: 7:15pm- 5:45am

Thenational pay range for this role is $16.50. The payrange may beslightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance,maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
