Job summary

TTX Company is seeking a forklift operator to drive and operate a sit-down forklift and perform related tasks. The role includes off-lift duties such as yard cleanup and lawn maintenance while ensuring product quality and following established guidelines.

Candidate should be able to work under supervision, participate in safety and quality improvements, and may be required to work multiple shifts with overtime. English proficiency is preferred for communication.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Availability for 10 hour shifts and overtime as needed.

Special Considerations

• 1st and 2nd Shifts - Must be able to work 10 hour shifts and open to overtime
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts
• Must submit to drug screen and criminal background check prior to hire

Physical Requirements

• Standing, hearing, and seeing for 10 hours, handling for 6 hours, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and fingering for 5 hours reaching below waist, twisting, and feeling for 2 hours, sitting, climbing, balancing, crawling, reaching over head, and talking for 1 hour. Frequently: standing, kneeling, stretching, reaching, gripping tools or objects and bending at the waist. Regularly: walking, crouching, and twisting while standing. Occasionally: sitting, crawling, and twisting while sitting for 1 hour or less.
• Lifting: car parts from 1-50lbs for 8 hours (10-25lbs frequently, 25-50lbs regularly)
• Requires indoor and outdoor work.
• Exposure to heat and humidity, working at heights regularly, working around moving machinery.
• Exposure to welding and burning fumes, odors, dust, gases, and uncomfortable noises from welding and burning, working in hot or cold temperatures regularly, driving automotive equipment, working with oil and grease, working with vibrations, and working alone occasionally. Hazard exposure: mechanical from tools, electrical from welders, radiant energy from torches.
