Job summary

Paycom is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate at Interflex Converting Wilkesboro, NC. You will move materials, operate a forklift, and help keep production flowing while following BRC food safety rules. Training is provided and safety gear is required.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, coordinating with shop floor and office staff, and maintaining accurate records using Windows applications such as Word and Excel.

Qualifications

Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Interflex Converting Wilkesboro - Wilkesboro, NC 28697, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $18.05 - $26.68 Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Evening, Job Category: Manufacturing, The purpose of this position is to handle, move and store materials in the warehouse and on the manufacturing floor. You will drive a forklift in the warehouse and throughout the plant. You will move materials from the warehouse to machine centers on the production floor. You will receive training throughout your employment. You will be expected to follow all BRC food safety rules throughout your employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All employees must follow all proper safety procedures and regulations, including wearing required protective gear and dispose of materials as required.
• Must identify, transport, pack, remove and properly dispose of material.
• You will physically move material along with using proper equipment to move product as required
• You will interact with all warehouse, shop floor and office staff.
• You will participate in counting inventory as needed in the warehouse.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, scissor lift, box truck
• Ability to follow all proper inventory control procedures.
• Ability to learn and apply Benchmark Training requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all other employees.

• Use of Pallet Jack and other required mechanical equipment used in the warehouse and on the shop floor.
• Must be able to read and understand Bills of Lading, orders invoices and packing lips
• Preparing Outgoing Shipments—Wrapping, Packing, and Documenting etc…
• How to complete a Trailer Inspection
• Inventory Management and Proper Routing of Incoming Shipments
