Job summary

Metacycle in Wichita, KS is seeking a production/material handler to monitor machines and materials, blend as needed, and ensure all material movements are accurately tracked in the software system. The role requires timely paperwork, proper labeling of products, and safe, organized production and warehouse areas.

You will print labels with correct part numbers and quantities, transfer products to the warehouse, and ensure raw materials are removed and scanned properly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machines and production for needed materials and deliver prior to running out
• Clean machine material system when changing material types
• Blends material when needed
• Ensure ALL material movements are properly transferred in software system
• Completes ALL paperwork timely and completely
• Responsible to print labels for product ensuring accurate part numbers and box quantities
• Ensure product is physically transferred to the warehouse and properly scanned in software system
• Ensure all raw materials are removed and transferred to the warehouse and properly scanned in software system
• Ensure all previous materials are removed prior to bringing in the next production run materials to avoid mix-ups
• Notify management of inventory discrepancies and troubleshoot to help resolve
• Notify management when inventories are low as compared to past quantities
• Maintain an organized & clean production & warehouse areas, ensuring a safe work environment
• Report timely, all safety, quality & equipment issues to supervision
• Must blend material as needed
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor
