Job summary

B in Wichita, KS is seeking a full-time Sheet Metal Cutter to cut sheet metal to size per customer drawings, perform inspections, and ensure quality for on-time production.

You will verify material callouts, read blueprints, and maintain workmanship while using calipers and scales. Must lift up to 75 lbs, follow safety PPE, and may work overtime to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience with a saw and/or shear in an aerospace setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsible for the cutting of sheet metal to size for jobs per Customer's engineering drawings and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proficient in blue print reading
• Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers and scales
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
