Job summary

Taylor Corporation in White Bear Lake, MN is hiring a Material Handler for our 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday shift. You will unload, stage, and move inventory using MHE equipment, maintain accurate storage and order picking, and perform general warehouse duties.

Candidates must meet safety standards, follow directions, and work well both in a team and independently. Prior warehouse experience is preferred and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team member or independently.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments and adapt to tasks.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and math such as fractions and decimals.
• Prior warehouse/receiving experience is preferred.

• Prepare/breakdown inbound shipment for accuracy validation.
• Put away of product into correct locations via MHE equipment.
• Pull orders accurately via paper/electronic orders via MHE equipment.

• Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash.
• Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties.

Your Opportunity:

Taymark, a Taylor Company, is looking for a Material Handler to join the team in our White Bear Lake, MN facility!

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Unload/Stage incoming shipments with various MHE equipment.

Your Shift:

8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

You Must Have:

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work as a team member and independently
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments
• Familiar with basic computer operations
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals are required to follow instructions
• Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Prior warehouse/receiving experience

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in a production related environment
• 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
