Job summary

Techlink Systems Inc. in Westford, MA is seeking a Material Handler II for an on-site contract role with hours 5AM–3:30PM. Responsible for accurate inventory control and timely material provisioning across required areas.

Job Title: Material Handler

Work Hours: 5AM - 3:30PM

Job Summary:
Briefly state the main purpose and scope of the job. The Material Handler II is responsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to required areas in a timely manner. Job Duties: List the significant/essential duties, tasks or responsibilities which employees in this position are required to perform.

• 1 year of inventory control experience, preferably in a regulated environment (pharma, med device, etc.)
• Perform Material Movements both physically and systematically
• Generate Work Orders from an ERP system
• Perform Work Order Receipts in ERP system
• Perform cycle counting as required
• Maintain a neat and safe work environment
• Assist in the coordination and flow of product through manufacturing and assembly when needed
• Work in a cross functional team environment
• Some areas will require the handling of chemicals with proper training provided. The types of chemicals consist mainly of isopropyl alcohol and sulfuric acid, neither of which has a high hazard level.
• Must work overtime as required for business needs
• Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
• Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Education Minimum is high school diploma or GED.

MEETINGS: 2 VIA TEAMS ~ 1ST WITH 2 Leads and 2nd with Manager.
