Job summary

Hire Up Staffing Services is seeking a dependable Material Handler in West Sacramento, CA, for a temp-to-hire opportunity. You’ll load, unload, and move materials, operate forklifts, and fulfill orders with accuracy.

You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, read labels and documentation, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting daily productivity goals. Full-time, 40 hours/week, on-site schedule. Pay is $22/hour.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and move packages up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read labels, tickets, and product documentation.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.

Hire Up Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for a great temp-to-hire opportunity in West Sacramento, CA. We’re looking for a dependable, safety-minded warehouse professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and operating material-handling equipment. Pay: $22/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Load, unload, and move materials within and around the warehouse
• Load and offload trucks using a forklift
• Fill orders and issue materials and supplies according to requests
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, hand trucks, and dollies
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
• Work independently while meeting daily productivity and accuracy expectations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Ability to safely lift, push, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read labels, tickets, and product documentation
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
• Reliable and able to work a full-time, 40-hour workweek
• Must be at least 18 years old
