Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking a Receiving Material Handler at our United States facility. You will receive and inspect inbound material, store and pick items for shipments to Mexico, and ensure accuracy against packing lists.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and may involve weekend coverage. Minimum 5 years in similar warehouse environments, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, with knowledge of import/export processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience of similar warehouse environments, preferably within a twin plant maquiladora framework.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred, able to use a standup forklift a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with import and export functions.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Willing to work weekends to cover special events/situations.
• Able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive all inbound shipments from freight carriers.
• Note and report any shipment damages or discrepancies.
• Open and inspect all inbound cartons and pallets and verify contents vs packing lists.
• Note and report any discrepancies to the Receiving Team Leader.
• Store all inbound material.
• Pick material for orders bound to Mexico.
• Loading and unloading trucks following safety rules.
• Participate in 5S activities, maintaining work area safe, clean and in order.
• Comply with all corporate and site-specific safety regulations.
