Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Material Handler in Fife, WA, with a Monday‑Friday 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. schedule and $23.00–$26.00 per hour pay.

You will manage vinyl and fiberglass lineals in a distribution center, focusing on receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will load/unload with forklifts, verify shipments, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory using WMS/RF tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be certified.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver long materials (up to 50–75 lbs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport vinyl and fiberglass lineals within the warehouse using forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders and transfer shipments accurately.
• Handle long, fragile lineals carefully to prevent damage such as bending, cracking, or surface defects.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists, orders, and inventory records.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations for efficient access and inventory control.
• Bundle, wrap, label, and secure materials for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and system updates (WMS or RF scanners).
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all warehouse procedures, shipping schedules, and safety guidelines.

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of vinyl and fiberglass lineals used for window products within a distribution center environment. This role focuses strictly on warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, without involvement in manufacturing or production line activities.
