# Material Handler**Material Handler**Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for an Material Handler. This position will be responsible for safety carrying out the work assignments received from the Production Lead or Supervisor. **This will be a 1st shift position; Monday - Friday, 4:00am - 2:30pm.****What you will be doing:*** Checks for incoming and outgoing materials so production is not stalled.* Follow all OSHA and company forklift policies.* Have basic math and mechanical skills.* Supply consumables to production line.* Does spot checks on random material incoming and outgoing.* Attention to detail.* Daily problem solving.* Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.* Check equipment to insure that it is clean and ready for production.**The skills and experience you need:*** High School diploma or GED Equivalent* 1 to 3 years of experience operating a lift truck.* Able to present proof of past forklift certification.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.* Must have strong verbal communication skills.* Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.* Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.* Able to work side by side with other production operators.* Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.* Good understanding of quality control.This role is located in Tulsa, OK.Questions about this role?
