Job summary

McElroy Manufacturing, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Material Handler to support our logistics operations in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

You will receive, stock, pick orders, prepare shipments, and help with loading and unloading to keep shipments on schedule. Attention to detail, safety, and reliability are essential as you work with inventory systems and collaborate with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do:

As a Material Handler, you’ll work in a clean, climate-controlled facility and be at the heart of our logistics process. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Receiving, verifying, and stocking incoming materials
• Picking and preparing orders for both internal teams and external customers
• Maintaining accurate inventory and keeping materials organized and easy to locate
• Packaging goods and preparing them for shipment
• Assisting with loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and other vehicles
• Securing shipments to ensure safe and timely delivery

Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines and checking procedures.

Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
