Job summary

Piramal Critical Care is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to operate systems and packaging equipment for inhalation anesthetic agents. You will maintain accurate GMP documentation, manage inventory in SAP/PAS-X, and ensure clean, compliant packaging areas.

The role requires picking, packing, loading, and coordinating with planning and QC teams to meet packaging schedules. Prior experience and knowledge of cGMP are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and packaging processes.
• Experience using SAP and PAS-X for inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Receives, distributes, and stores products in designated, secure locations.

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to operate systems and equipment at the site to package inhalation anesthetic agents according to customer requirements. Documents all activities in the proper GMP format, ensures accurate Inventory is maintained, and performs proper cleaning of the Packaging area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations. Example - Packaging packaging, plant and warehouse.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information by way of SAP/PAS-X systems.
• Reviews FG shipments from packaging for accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
• Confirms picklist details and or special instructions provided by the weekly packaging schedule; expedites shipments that affect the packaging schedule.
• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids) in and out of packaging, packaging, plant and warehouse.
• When problems arise, resolves issues by contacting the following departments with email warehouse, planning, QC and packaging supervision.
• Apply Quarantine / Approval labels on finish good pallets
• Conducts weekly cycle counts of packaging, plant and warehouse.
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment within packaging packaging, plant and warehouse.
• Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within or to the main warehouse
• Documents all activities in a manner that is compliant with GDPs and all FDA regulations. This may include providing information to the person responsible for completing the packaging batch record.
• Utilizes SAP and PAS-X to perform material transactions and movements to align with physical transfers and consumption of materials, as well as to submit work orders
• Reports any safety issues to the proper personnel
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
