Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Texas City, TX is hiring a Material Handler to support operations, maintain inventory, set up machine stations and pack outgoing material.

This on-site role is the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with weekly pay and starting wage of $19.00 per hour. You will operate forklifts, assist in reviewing shipping documents, inspect orders for accuracy, and report discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail (critical skill).
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and management.
• Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment.
• Assist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package product.
• Assist in inspections of product orders for accuracy.
• Assist in loading/unloading packages from trucks.
• Report product discrepancies to management.
• Actively communicate with teammates.
• Operate forklifts to relocate material.
• Other Operations tasks as assigned.

Wieland is hiring a Material Handler.The Material Handler will be responsible for assisting with overall operations, including processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine stations, and packing outgoing material.This role is located in Texas City, TXand will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1st shift (8:00 am-5:00 pm)

Pay: Weekly
