Job summary

VANDOR is seeking a general warehouse laborer to follow detailed bills of material and shipping documents, and to safely operate a licensed forklift to move, stack, and load or unload materials in the plant and warehouse. You will use banding, shrink wrap, and basic scanning tools to track products as required.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials using hand trucks and forklifts, positioning goods for shipment, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good communications skills, team oriented, self-motivated, attention to detail.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

General warehouse labor job responds to instructions provided on bills of material and shipping documents. Licensed to operate a powered forklift truck to move, stack, and load or unload materials in and about the plant, warehouse, staging area, etc. Utilizing banding and shrink wrap machines. May use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product as it is moved.
