Job summary

Mega Force Staffing Group is seeking a Material Handler in Lumberton, NC. The role involves packing export and regular orders, preparing import/export documents, loading/unloading materials, and ensuring shipments are accurate. Forklift operation and scanner use are required.

The position runs Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with Saturday overtime potential. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pack export orders and prepare information for export documents.
• Pack regular orders and return materials to proper location when needed.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine materials to move.
• Load/unload materials and form pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Count, weigh, and record units moved on daily production sheet.
• Run labels and Bills of Lading for shipments.
• Verify shipping copies, export docs, and BOLs for accuracy before shipment.
• Support other shipping functions as needed by supervisor.

Material Handler Needed in Lumberton, NC

Job Summary

Wrap, band, box and prepare truck shipments for water solutions client producing plumbing and heating products.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm + Saturday overtime

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack all export orders and provide sales with appropriate information for export documents.
• Pack regular orders and touch up all materials when necessary or return materials to proper location if unable to ship.
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Load and unload material onto or form pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled daily production sheet.
• Run labels/BOL for shipments.
• Load and unload trucks Before product is shipped, check shipping copies, export documentation, and bills of lading for accuracy.
• Support other shipping functions deemed necessary by supervisor/and or company.
• Other related duties assigned by Supervisor.

Pay Rate

$16/hr.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have great communication skills.
• Must be able to regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use a staple gun and build crates.
• Must have assembly/machine operating and forklift operating experience Must be willing to work overtime with short notice.
