Job summary

Hdt Global Company seeks a warehouse associate in Spokane, WA to load and unload shipments, move materials with forklifts, and support assembly with accurate inventory handling.

You will follow safety standards, inspect equipment, complete shipping documents, and coordinate with production and logistics teams. This role requires physical stamina, occasional overtime, and the ability to operate various forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Valid forklift operator certification from an OSHA-compliant training program (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with warehouse layouts, material flow, loading docks, and storage practices.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control systems and ability to complete shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety practices and meet quality standards of work.
  • Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report malfunctions.
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound shipments; verify shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Deliver raw materials to workstations and stage finished goods for shipment or storage.
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization of dock and inventory areas.
  • Perform cycle counting and stock picking; document receipts and entries in the system.

  • Pay or shift range: $21 USD to $24.15 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Summary:

The primary function of this position is to prepare and load outgoing shipments and unload trucks of incoming goods and to handle material required for assembly. Work is performed with direction from a supervisor or work lead with work delegated on a regular basis.

  • Able to follow safety practices, and meet quality standards of work.
  • Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack) to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products within the warehouse or production facility.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and routine maintenance checks. Report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and integrity of materials handled. Verify shipping and receiving documentation for completeness.
  • Deliver raw materials, components, and supplies to designated workstations or production lines to support manufacturing processes. Stage finished goods for shipment or storage.
  • Able to look-up and investigate transaction history to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting.
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Delivers products and supplies to internal user/customer
  • Documents each receipt (packing slip, bill of lading, etc.) to support computer system entries
  • Enters receipts in computer
  • Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted.
  • Maintains general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas
  • May participate in lean/six sigma/quality/safety initiatives as required Performs stock picking, cycle counting, and point of use stocking tasks using manual and motorized material handling equipment including tow motors and pallet jacks.
  • Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as prescribed by Supervisor.
  • Performs material data transactions on computer terminal.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Produces or verifies packing list and/or bill of lading
  • Receives incoming products and raw materials
  • Requires completion of incoming inspection testing, confirmation of certificate of conformance and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation. Verifies receipt and match to purchase order
  • Requires hands on cleaning and maintenance along with organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments and outside waste disposal vendor
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

  • Performs all work in accordance with safety and workmanship and good housekeeping specifications
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms, and sit or stand for several hours at a time
  • Eye/hand coordination required to operate equipment and tools
  • Ability to wear proper Personal Protective (PPE), as required per plant rules
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary, including weekends
