Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a Material Handler in Sparks, NV. We offer first and second shifts with starting pay around $23.12/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential. This full-time role involves receiving, handling, loading/unloading, and operating material-handling equipment to support production.

Responsibilities include complying with safety rules, maintaining clean work areas, and working in a team to meet daily targets. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently.
  • Follow detailed instructions and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and handling raw materials needed for production.
  • Loading and unloading trailers, following dock safety procedures.
  • Operating palletizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors.
  • Maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
  • Follow safety rules, processes and procedures.
