Job summary

Cultech, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to manage shipping and receiving, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production needs in a clean, safe warehouse environment.

The role requires operating forklifts, PPE adherence, and teamwork to meet delivery deadlines. You will log goods, coordinate with carriers, and use ERP systems to track shipments and inventory in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock locations, storing inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
• Pull inventory for shipments.
• Receive and stock incoming material.
• Ensure that all product and equipment received are properly logged & labeled in accordance with work instructions.
• Assist carriers with loading of trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Shrink wrap incoming/outgoing material, utilizing the semi-automated shrink-wrap equipment.
• Unload incoming shipments after verifying delivery documents.
• Utilize all scanning equipment in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Review necessary documentation related to shipping/receiving and assume responsibility for its accuracy; distribute documents to involved parties as appropriate.
• Interact with both internal and external customers in an efficient and professional manner.
• Maintain shipping/receiving reports.
• Operate and perform periodic maintenance check on forklifts, pallet jacks, and stretch wrap machine; inform manager if repair is required.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area at all times; report any hazards immediately.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/projects as assigned by management and/or Supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Material Handler is responsible for shipping and receiving orders consistently, efficiently, and professionally as well as maintaining warehouse inventory. Working under minimal supervision, the Material Handler will ensure a properly functioning, clean, and well-organized warehouse. He/She will move product and material throughout the facility, with an emphasis on timeliness and safety, in order to meet production and shipping needs. He/She must consistently and efficiently perform and follow procedures in compliance to company, customer, and ISO standards.
