Pacific Supply in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time Material Handler to load roofing materials and drywall, operate a forklift, and support yard operations and jobsites.

You will be responsible for loading/unloading vehicles, counting materials, and assisting customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. We offer competitive pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills are required.
• Prior distribution center experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Load roofing materials and drywall onto roofs and into homes.
• Load and unload customer and company vehicles.
• Count and reconcile incoming and outgoing materials.

Compensation Data

Zone 1: $17.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Zone 2: $17.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Zone 3: $18.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Zone 4: $18.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Job Description

Candidates will primarily be responsible for loading roofing materials onto roofs and drywall into homes.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
• Loads roofing shingles onto roofs as well as other material handling in the yard and on jobsites.
• Counts and reconciles incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assists all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.

Job Requirements

• Forklift experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to load a roof or stock drywall.
• Must have basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Prior experience in the distribution center industry preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
