Pay and Incentives
- Attendance Incentive – Up to $2400 bonus for good attendance. (Refer to Policy for Rules and Details)
- Referral Bonus – Up to $500 per referral (Refer to Policy for Rules and Details)
- Hiring Bonus – Up to $1000 (Refer to Policy for Rules and Details)
- Step increase program – Pay will increase by $0.50 after 90 days and again after 180 days (Material Handlers Only)
- Certified/qualified Forklift/Walkie Rider/Cherry Picker drivers will receive an additional $0.50 per hour
- Certified/qualified Reach Truck drivers will receive an additional $1.00 per hour

Job Purpose
To perform loading/unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers, ensuring all shipments are properly stored. Pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading truck/trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carrier equipment.
- Picking and moving from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times.
- Ensure all documentation is properly completed.
- Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve any discrepancies.
- Proper storing of all inbound loads in the correct warehouse location.
- Ensure all shipments are properly marked before storing/picking.
- Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
- Spot trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse.
- Coordinate paperwork with drivers after normal dispatch operations are finished for the day.
- General maintenance of area surrounding warehouse.
- Ensure trailers are swept clean of any debris when empty.
- Ensure all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
- Process outbound freight and cross‑dock freight as necessary.
- Operate Stand‑up Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and some sit‑down forklift work.
- Follow all safety procedures at all times.
- Must be able to build pallets and break down stock.
- Work in a fast‑paced warehouse.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager.
Additional Responsibilities
- Operate a Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Stand‑up Reach Forklift.
- Good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.
- Maintain orderly operation of warehouse.
Qualifications
- 1 year Fork Lift driving experience.
- Certified Fork Lift License.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Language Skills
- Communicate, read, write, and speak English.
- Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
- Solve practical problems and deal with variable situations with limited standardization.
- Interpret instructions from written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
- Determine root cause of problem and recommend corrective action.
Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet software, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Activate phone systems using keyboards and buttons.
- Speak comfortably in front of others.
- Work in an indoor/office environment with repetitive hand motion.
- Talk, hear, stand, and walk frequently.
- Work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
- Work under stressful situations, maintain accuracy, and multi‑task.
- Read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 correct vision.
- Communicate clearly over telephones.
- Be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of controlled substances use.
Work Environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles; noise level ranges from quiet to moderately loud.
