Job summary

Complete Coach Works is seeking a Material Handler to load and unload freight, store and document inventory, and move materials to the production area. You will read orders, ensure accuracy, and contribute to safety and quality checks on the shop floor.

This full-time role requires basic math and forklift experience, with a GED or high school diploma. Work hours are M-F, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with a competitive weekly pay and benefits in Riverside.

• Experience with forklifts/PIT equipment is preferred.

• Interpersonal skills, tact, patience and teamwork are essential.

REPORTS TO: Materials Supervisor

Department: Material Handling

Essential Responsibilities

The Material Handler, under the direction of the Materials Supervisoris responsible for the loading/unloading of materials from trucks as well as assisting with the maintaining of inventory.

Specific Responsibilities

• Load, unload and check in freight
• Storing and documenting freight
• Deliver material to the production area.
• Count and organize part storage area.
• Read and interpret written orders, specifications and labels.
• Perform safety and quality checks.
• Work and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Basic math, tape measurement and computer skills.
• Basic experience with Forklifts/PIT Equipment.
• Able to understand and comprehend measurement.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent GED.
• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision while working in a team-oriented environment.

Must be able to:

• Carry, pull, and push up to 50 pounds of dead weight.
• Climb up and down a ladder.
• Sit, stand, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl.
• Twist or turn in confined spaces.
