Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Unloading: Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and verify quantities against packing lists or purchase orders.
• Putting Away & Storing: Transport received items to designated warehouse or rack locations and label stock accurately.
• Order Picking & Staging: Pull materials from inventory based on pick lists or production orders and deliver them to assembly or packing areas.
• Packing & Shipping: Crate, wrap, box, and load finished products onto delivery trucks or freight carriers.
• Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts, track inventory movements using handheld barcode scanners or warehouse software, and report shortages.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate machinery such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, or conveyors (OSHA certification often required for forklifts).
• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines, conduct pre-use equipment inspections, and keep work and loading areas clean.
