Job summary

TPI Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Pharr, TX, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shift.

The role involves receiving, shipping, storing, and moving materials within the warehouse. You will load and unload at loading docks and ensure accuracy of shipments, while maintaining safety and organization. The position requires at least 1 year of forklift/warehouse experience, sit-down forklift operation, and the ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant forklift/warehouse experience preferred.
• Verified sit-down forklift experience is required.
• Must be able to safely operate powered industrial trucks and other warehouse equipment.
• Must successfully complete a practical forklift evaluation prior to hiring to demonstrate safe operation and competency.
• Good basic math and written communication skills.
• Ability to safely handle and move materials while preventing damage or loss.
• RF scanner experience is a plus.
• Clamp forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, storing, and organizing products.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and other designated locations.
• Review shipments and accompanying documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Safely secure and protect loads using appropriate materials and strapping equipment.
• Organize and stack drums, skids, pallets, and other materials in designated areas.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Understand equipment loading capacities and schedules to ensure timely and efficient movement of materials.
• Follow all company, site, and department safety procedures, including applicable OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Position Type: This is a temporary position and will remain in effect only until the assignment ends.
