Job Description

The Material Handler performs duties to ensure the timely and proper movement of material in the warehouse to the production floor, between building locations, and outside raw material locations to support production, engineering, and customer orders. Responsibilities include inventory consolidation, order picking/packing, stock put-away, replenishment, unloading/loading trucks, and shipping/receiving orders via various carriers.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.
• Assist in daily disbursement of raw materials to manufacturing.
• Maintain FIFO and accurate cycle counts.
• Coordinate material movements with third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.
• Comply with quality policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.

Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of warehouse experience, knowledge of inventory management in ERP systems, and working knowledge of forklifts (certification required).

Other Competencies

• Ability to operate lift trucks and obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to pass a vision test for safe operation of industrial vehicles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
