Job summary

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, seeks a full-time production associate at our Orange, TX facility. You will convey and package products, mix additives, and hand-load materials while ensuring quality, safety, and housekeeping.

The job requires lifting up to 60 lbs, operating forklifts, and standing all shift in a fast-paced environment. Rotating schedule with a strong emphasis on safety and process adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to operate/monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality production.
• Must be able to pass forklift test and respirator fit test.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Preferred forklift experience and manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Identify difference between final packaging.
• Properly make up boxes.
• Sample boxes and mark samples properly.
• Monitor printer and ensure proper print quality.
• Monitor conveyors and ensure proper movement of boxes.
• Operate wash station controls.
• Operate AT01 elevator and material hoist.
• Hand load additives in AT01 batches.
• Maintain additive tank levels.
• Record material transactions and logs.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace and follow safety rules.
• Note production data in logs and reports.
• Participate in training and continual improvement processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

This position is r esponsible for all aspects of conveying and packaging product; mix additives required on certain products; hand loading and dumping various raw materials. Responsible for quality, safety, and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Identify difference between final packaging
• Properly make up boxes
• Sample boxes and mark samples properly
• Monitor printer and ensure proper print quality
• Monitor in-feed and out-feed conveyors and insure proper movement of boxes
• Operate all controls on wash station
• Operate AT01 elevator
• Operate the material hoist
• Hand load additives in AT01 batches
• Maintain level in additive tanks
• Update records on holding tanks on control room board
• Keep up with levels of product in all holding tanks used
• Maintains production materials storage area, including recording material transactions in inventory records and properly storing items
• Perform all required machine cleaning
• Document work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
• Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods
• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred forklift experience
• Preferred previous manufacturing experience

• Talk and hear to coordinate and operate equipment
