Job summary

Sonepar USA Inc, Irby Utilities in Odessa, TX is seeking a Material Handler - Logistics Associate to load, unload, and move materials, and to use RF devices to fill orders. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, and pack and ship orders with high accuracy.

Material Handler - Logistics Associate

Your logistical expertise will help add value to our efficiency and productivity. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site

  • Utilizing RF devices to fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests

  • Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, handtrucks or dollies

  • Packing and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Championing effective inventory management practices

  • Adhering to and promoting safety and security policies and procedures

  • Demonstrating exceptional reliability while maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:
  • Ability to reach, bend, and lift/push packages that weigh up to 50lbs.

  • Attention to detail and good timemanagement skills

  • Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week
